For 2nd Jum’ah, the parking lot will be opened for incoming traffic @ 2:10pm
For 3rd Jum’ah, the parking lot will be opened for incoming traffic @ 3:10pm
MCMC Iftar Program
Community members will have the opportunity to sponsor Iftars every Friday thru Sunday and on all of the last 10 nights in Ramadan.
Costs:
Iftar full day: $3200 [can sponsor partially with any amount as well]
Dates: $150/day [can sponsor multiple days]
Prophet(s) said “Whoever feeds a person breaking his fast will earn the same reward as him, without anything being lessened from the reward of the fasting person” [Tirmidhi]
Itikaf at MCMC
MCMC can accommodate only 10 spots for I’tikaf due to limited space.
If anyone is interested in doing I’tikaf – please send an email ASAP to info@mcmcnj.org to reserve your spot.
Spots are only given to people who will be staying at the masjid all 10 nights.
Ibn ‘Umar (Allah be pleased with both of them) reported that the Messenger of Allah (swt) used to observe i’tikaf in the last ten days of Ramadan.[Muslim]
