Testimonials:

Maha Afshar (Level 1)
Alhamdulillah these two years have undoubtedly been such a journey and I can confidently say I’ve learned so much, an unbelievable amount of knowledge.

I’d like to start off by remembering the saying of the Prophet SAW: “Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.”

Alhamdulilah going into this program, I was so excited to be learning Arabic, Quran, Hadith and so much about Islam. Then for a while it became hard to balance with the overwhelming school work, but Alhamdulilah after resetting my priories, a ton of duaas and late nights, and the blessing of coffee I was able to get back on track.

I’m so happy I met so many new people and made so many friends! And of course I’m so proud of all the knowledge I’ve learned from all my teachers.

My teachers have dedicated so much time for all of us. Every Saturday and every Wednesday they came in so early (and believe me it’s hard to get to class on time) just to dedicate their time into helping our minds and souls for this world and the akhirah. We all owe them so much gratitude in helping us shape our futures.

As we move forward, we have to be those people who will create that positive change in our communities and ummah, showcasing the knowledge that the prophet SAW has imparted on us.

Our journey may have been challenging but every obstacle we encountered was an opportunity to improve and grow in our character and knowledge. And in times of hardship we can always turn to the Almighty and ask for help as He provides guidance and hope.

So let us walk forward with confidence and unyielding commitment to continue seeking knowledge. May Allah SWT bless our journey and grant us success in this life and the hereafter.”

Afrah Valiulla (Level 2)
For all the girls who are thinking about going to the level 2 program, I would like to give some words of encouragement. Congratulations on completing level 1. You have achieved so much, yet there is still so much more for you to learn.

For example, one of the subjects you learn in level 2 is the tafseer and translation of Surah Baqarah. Personally, it has definitely deepened my connection with the Qur’an because now, unlike before, I can understand what I’m reading. Additionally, I know many of you are in school, whether it be middle school,  high school, or college.  So I think this class is a really important connection to our deen in the midst of our lives where we can sometimes get sucked into the world and mundane day-to-day activities.

Thus, I hope all of you will continue on with this program until the end. It can be hard, but at the end you’ll realize that it was worth it!

Aisha Mansoor (Level 2)
I am a level 2 student in AIE, and I’m also a college student. I want to start off by saying that everything you learn here is very beneficial and keeps you connected to your deen. Even though it may be hard, especially as you go into high school/college, I hope you will consider AIE, as it will continue to grow and expand on your knowledge and keep you connected to Islam in the midst of your busy life.
