About The Role
The Operations Manager is key to ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our center’s daily operations.
This role requires a highly organized individual with exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by good character (akhlaq) and kindness.
The Operations Manager will oversee all operational activities, hire and manage part-time administrative staff, and ensure tasks and coverage are delegated effectively.
Given that our center operates from 6 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week, this position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the center (maintenance, security, etc.).
- Streamline internal processes, reduce redundancies, and identify opportunities for improved efficiency and impact through organizational systems and tools.
- Lead the strategic planning process and work closely with leadership.
- Oversee vendor relationships and coordinate with suppliers to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Lead and mentor operations staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with committee leads, after-school/weekend program leads, and leadership to align operational strategies.
- Support the planning and smooth execution of religious, educational, and social programs/events; coordinate logistics (space setup, A/V equipment, security, etc.); ensure compliance with policies for events and rentals.
- Maintain the gym calendar, including scheduling activities, programs, and rentals.
- Serve as a point of contact for community inquiries; communicate announcements and updates clearly.
- Manage volunteer recruitment and match volunteers with roles based on skills and community needs.
- Manage and oversee third-party cleaning services to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
- Together with the custodian, conduct weekly building walkthroughs, maintain a checklist of maintenance/repair items, and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
- Monitor KPIs and identify areas of improvement.
- Ensure the custodian properly locks down the facility after hours.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or a similar leadership role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
